As we continue to grow in the U.S. market, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced FCL/LCL Export Specialist to join our team.
Position Summary:
The FCL/LCL Export Specialist will be responsible for managing full container load ( FCL ) and less than container load (LCL) export shipments from the U.S. to global destinations, ensuring smooth end-to-end operations, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute FCL export shipments from booking to final delivery.
- Communicate with carriers, truckers, terminals, and overseas offices.
- Manage documentation including B/Ls, AES filings, and export compliance.
- Monitor vessel schedules, cut-offs, and transit times.
- Provide timely updates to customers and resolve operational issues.
- Ensure accurate billing, cost control, and profitability per shipment.
- Maintain strong relationships with steamship lines and partners.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in ocean export (FCL preferred).
- Strong knowledge of U.S. export regulations and documentation (AES, EEI, etc.).
- Experience working with carriers like Maersk, MSC, CMA CGM, COSCO, etc.
- Familiarity with ERP/TMS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with direct services and transshipment planning.
- Knowledge of drayage coordination and inland logistics.
- Multilingual skills (Turkish is a plus).
